 We own a B&B in Hawaii, and the only way we can ever go away is to find reliable help. We have found what we were looking for.
We have known Nat and Tim for several years now. Originally, they stayed as guests, after that we have been trying to get them back to Maui in the capacity of house sitters.
Here are some of their chores while at our house: Care for our old dog, cat and, 50 chickens + 24 chicks, answer phones, take reservations including running credit card transactions for both of our rentals. Cleaning both of our rentals and standing by for any questions, that our guests might have. For the first time in years, we don't have to worry about the home scene.

Nat and Tim are wonderful house and pet sitters. They managed our two homes and hobby farm while we traveled for over two months. Nat also managed my small bath and body business in a very professional and above average manner. Tim and Nat also did some home repairs. They both did an excellent job. We also entrusted them to our beloved pets. They did a fantastic job loving up and caring for our furry children. We highly recommend them for peace of mind when you travel.

My husband and I live in east Maui, on a remote 26 acres suspended between the jungle-clad slopes of Haleakala volcano and the lava cliffs overlooking the sea.  By remote I mean the property is completely off the grid, powered entirely by solar and generator, and the nearest grocery store and hospital are a good two hour drive away on twisty one lane roads often blocked by rock slides or flooding rivers.  We have four houses on the property, one beautiful but extremely high maintenance in ground pool, orchards, garden, and a dog who needs lots of love and attention; needless to say, finding house sitters up for the challenge has been difficult.  In the past we've settled for people who make sure the dog is fed and the houses don't burn down, but then we met Nat and Tim.  Nat and Tim property sat for us for three weeks last summer, and they are quite possibly the most competent couple I've ever met.  They combine an impressive array of skills (pool maintenance, gourmet cooking, machinery know how, gardening, pet care, etc etc), with enthusiasm for adventure and new experiences, and a dislike for sitting around and doing nothing.  They went well above and beyond what we expected, cleaning the houses (even washing all the salt spray and dirt off the windows), keeping the pool in top condition (an amazing feat in our tropical climate), reclaiming my weed filled garden (again an amazing feat in our tropical climate), lavishing lots of love and attention on our dog, just to name a few of the things they did for us.  We're now hoping to have Nat and Tim here every summer- it is such a relief to know that we have finally found people capable of caring for, and improving on, our isolated island home.
